How this site is made
Open Music Business is human-accountable and machine-assisted. Those are different roles, and the distinction should be visible.
AI and software may assist with
- Software development and testing
- Information organization and content inventory
- Early drafts and alternative phrasing
- Finding claims that require source verification
This site will not use AI for
- Synthetic musician testimonials or contributors
- Claims of professional review that did not occur
- Uploading submitted music, lyrics, contracts, or private files for model training
- Publishing automated submissions without moderation
- Treating generated text as a source
What human accountability means
A human publisher decides what is published, accepts correction responsibility, and chooses when a claim needs stronger sourcing or professional review.
“Source-backed” means named sources were checked; it does not mean a lawyer, accountant, manager, or other professional approved the page. Professional review will only be displayed when a real reviewer has explicitly participated.
Worked examples are labeled as examples. Community notes are moderated and are not generalized into universal advice.

Specific corrections with primary sources are encouraged. Nothing submitted is published automatically.
